MaPko New Player Guide: How to Start

Just created your character? Here’s a clear roadmap from your first quest to becoming a GALAXY-powered legend, including gear, upgrades, and farming tips.

1️⃣ Starting Out: First Quests & Starter Gear

• Go to Argent (2222, 2785) and talk to the Newbie CatchUp NPC.
• Take Story Quest #1. Complete it and return to the NPC to get your starter item set and weapon, tailored to your class.
• Keep doing Story Quests—they give good items for your progress and useful info for beginners.
• After Story Quest #10, ADV Quests unlock, offering even better items.
• Recommended start: Complete all 15 Story Quests + first 5 ADV Quests to get a solid starting set.

💡 Tip: Quests are your first source of gear and guidance—don’t rush past them!

2️⃣ Where to Get Items

EMAPKO Seller (2189, 2786 Argent) sells NOVA and OMEGA items:

• NOVA Items:
  • Armor (Hat/Glove/Boot/Armor): 30 B Gold Notes
  • Weapon (all classes): 30 B Gold Notes (Crusader: 15 + 15 B Gold Notes for two weapons)
  • Ring: 50 B Gold Notes
  • Neck: 180 B Gold Notes
• OMEGA Items:
  • Armor: 50 MaPko Coins
  • Weapon: 50 MaPko Coins (Crusader: 25 + 25 for two weapons)
  • Ring: 100 MaPko Coins
  • Neck: Not available

💡 Tip: Start with NOVA items, then aim for OMEGA for stronger stats.

3️⃣ Upgrading to GALAXY Items

Visit Epic Equipment NPC (2213, 2750 Argent) to upgrade OMEGA items into GALAXY items.

Requirements for GALAXY upgrades:

• Hat/Armor/Boot/Glove: 2x OMEGA + 500 L.relic + 20 MaPko Coins + 10 GoldBar, 30% success. For guaranteed success, use 2 L.charms.
• Ring: 2x OMEGA Ring + 1800 L.relic + 90 MaPko Coins + 45 GoldBar, 10% success. Guaranteed with 14 L.charms (80%).
• Neck: 2x OMEGA Neck + 3000 L.relic + 150 MaPko Coins + 75 GoldBar, 10% success. Guaranteed with 24 L.charms (80%).
• Weapon: 2x OMEGA Weapon + 1000 L.relic + 50 MaPko Coins + 25 GoldBar, 30% success. Guaranteed with 4 L.charms.

💡 Tip: Use charms if you don’t want to risk failure—your GALAXY set is expensive to lose!

4️⃣ Skills & Rebirths

• NPC offers 6 new skills (3 passive, 3 active) to boost attack and BP.
• Reborn & Rebirth System:
  • Max Hero Level 120
  • Max Pray Level 80
  • Rebirth levels 14–15 require max hero level, giving huge stat boosts

💡 Tip: Rebirths make you much stronger for dungeons, PvP, and farming.

5️⃣ Cloak & Gem Upgrades

• Cloak Level: Upgrade up to level 15
• Gems: Max level 16 for stats (STR, AGI, CON, SPR, ACC)

Upgrade Costs for Cloaks:

• LMR: 5 GoldBar
• GMR: 10 GoldBar
• SOS: 15 GoldBar + 50 Saint Emblems + 500 King Emblems
• SOM: 25 GoldBar + 100 Saint Emblems + 1500 King Emblems
• SUN: 50 GoldBar + 200 Saint Emblems + 3000 King Emblems + 100 MaPko Coins
• NOVA: 75 GoldBar + 300 Saint Emblems + 4500 King Emblems + 200 MaPko Coins
• OMEGA: 150 GoldBar + 600 Saint Emblems + 6000 King Emblems + 300 MaPko Coins
• GALAXY: 250 GoldBar + 900 Saint Emblems + 9000 King Emblems + 400 MaPko Coins

💡 Tip: Upgrading your cloak and gems boosts your overall stats—essential for farming, bosses, and PK maps.

6️⃣ Farming Gold Notes & Items

• Farm M Gold Notes / B Gold Notes from Forsaken City, Demonic World, Green Arena, TOMB, Treasure Chests, Kyjj, Blizzard Arena, Dream Isle 1/2, and World Bosses.
• Pets can be leveled up to 1000.
• Wings can be upgraded +15.
• Forge runes Lv 10 for extra power.
• PK maps are great for L.charms and rare items.

💡 Tip: Choose farming maps based on your gear level. Some are safer, some give bigger rewards.

7️⃣ Goal: Become a GALAXY-Powered Pirate

• Complete quests for starter gear and info
• Upgrade NOVA → OMEGA → GALAXY items
• Unlock skills and rebirths
• Farm gold notes, L.charms, and rare items
